James Godorecci of Main Line Dental Aesthetics is charged with misdemeanor indecent assault and harassment, said the Chester County District Attorney's Office in a release.
In the criminal complaint, the alleged victim told police she had been seeing Godorecci for regular dental care and treatment for her temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ.)
The TMJ treatment involved "massage therapy" to the "jaw, neck, and upper chest/shoulder region," according to investigators. Police said Godorecci had previously encouraged the woman to schedule appointments with him directly via text message.
During an emergency treatment on Wednesday, Jan. 3, Godorecci allegedly "slid his hands under both her shirt and bra and fondled her breasts." The woman told police that Godorecci had let her in through the back door and said they were the only ones in the office at the time.
Godorecci, 56, of Wayne, was released after posting a $25,000 bond, court records show. Conditions of his bail include no contact with the victim and notifying the state licensing board, the DA's Office said.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 22.
According to an archived version of the Main Line Dental Aesthetics website, Godorecci is a "lifetime resident of Chester and Delaware counties" who has owned the practice since 2010.
